The Nuclear Medicine Technologist plays a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care at Inova Health System. This position requires a strong commitment to sound patient care practices, adhering to department and hospital policies/procedures. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, ensuring seamless collaboration with colleagues and patients alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer radiation protection/safety protocols for patients, staff, and self, as outlined in department protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition, ensuring a clean and efficient work environment.
  • Provide clinical services according to Nuclear Medicine practice standards, acting as a resource to Nuclear Medicine students and other technologists.

Requirements for Consideration:

  • Graduate of an accredited Associate's school/program of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • ARRT-N or CNMT obtained within one year of hire date. NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist within one year of hire date.
  • Experience in a hospital/healthcare environment as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Student.
  • Basic Life Support upon start.
