About this Role

Carrier Commercial Services is seeking a skilled Service Manager for our Commercial HVAC/Construction sector in the Greater Seattle area.


Role Overview

The Service Manager will oversee a team of Operations Professionals and Union Field Technicians, ensuring the efficient execution of maintenance, repairs, overhauls, and installations for large-scale commercial projects. The goal is to surpass customer expectations while achieving revenue and margin objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the commercial air conditioning sector, including relationship management, talent development, field operations, and safety protocols.

This position requires the Service Manager to spend approximately 40% of their time in the field (within a 100-mile radius of Western Washington) and 60% in the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Forecast, monitor, and document financial performance against established plans.
  • Coordinate, prioritize, and resolve issues faced by the team.
  • Optimize manpower, standard time, equipment, and energy usage to complete ongoing work.
  • Escalate critical or complex issues that may impact business operations.
  • Manage the team in accordance with established programs and objectives.
  • Implement, monitor, and manage work quality.
  • Engage with customers to collect feedback, maintain strong relationships, and address complaints effectively.
  • Conduct customer satisfaction investigations and ensure the implementation of improvement plans.

Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of service management experience in the commercial HVAC/construction industry.
  • 2+ years of experience in people management.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems.
  • Technical aptitude with an understanding of local building codes.
  • Ability to leverage available resources to develop effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, and navigating ERP systems.

Pay Range:
$92,856 - $130,206 Annually
