Carrier Commercial Services is seeking a skilled Service Manager - Commercial HVAC/Construction to join our dynamic team.
The Service Manager will oversee a team of Operations Professionals and Unionized Field Technicians, ensuring the successful execution of maintenance, repairs, overhauls, and installations for large-scale commercial projects. The goal is to surpass customer expectations while achieving revenue and margin objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the commercial air conditioning sector, including relationship management, talent development, field operations, and safety protocols.
This role requires the Service Manager to spend approximately 40% of their time in the field (within a 100-mile radius) and 60% in the office.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and document financial performance against established plans.

- Manage the team in alignment with set programs and objectives.
- Implement and oversee quality control measures.
- Engage with customers to gather feedback and maintain strong relationships.
- Address customer complaints, conduct satisfaction investigations, and develop improvement plans.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of experience in service management within the commercial HVAC/construction industry.
- 2+ years of experience in managing personnel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient understanding of commercial HVAC systems.
- Technical knowledge of local building codes.
- Aptitude for resourceful problem-solving.
- Familiarity with MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems.
