Job Description

Position: Business Analyst 1

Overview:

The primary role of a business analyst is to oversee vendor partnerships, serving as an analyst for non-IT initiatives or fulfilling organizational responsibilities that are above administrative levels but below management. Additional duties may encompass the management of all project oversight processes, including objectives, timelines, performance metrics, and financial planning. Typically, the business operations specialist reports to a project manager or director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the execution of all change requests and improvements to the Global Warranty Management System (GWM).
  • Ensure the sustainability and functionality of the GWM system.
  • Manage Tables/Data within SAP.
  • Acquire knowledge of SAP and handle daily operational tasks.
  • Identify, track, and escalate IT issues or enhancement requests as necessary.
  • Perform additional related tasks and responsibilities as needed.
  • Maintain a global perspective in all operations.

Required Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent customer service abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously and effectively manage time.
  • Understanding of business and management principles related to strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methodologies.
  • Ability to apply accounting and mathematical concepts as required.
  • Proficiency in analyzing business trends and forecasting future revenues and expenditures.
  • Familiarity with software applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Education and Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, human resources, or a related field is required.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience is required.

Essential Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the automotive industry.
  • Experience in vehicle dealership operations.
  • Understanding of Field Service Operations and Aftersales processes.
  • Ability to tackle unique and complex challenges effectively.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, along with communication and interpersonal skills necessary for building relationships with team members.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple challenging projects and tasks with a high degree of independence and accountability for outcomes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office products.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to support global business partners as needed.
