About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guest Service Agent to join our team at El Encanto, A Belmond Hotel. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage guest reservations, check-ins, and check-outs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Process guest payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for guests.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and food and beverage, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date on hotel policies, procedures, and services, providing guests with accurate information and recommendations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge, ensuring the highest level of service delivery.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
