Position Summary
The Senior Tax Associate role is designed for a meticulous, analytical professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality work while engaging with clients in a respectful and professional manner. Key Responsibilities

  • Possess a minimum of 4 years of recent experience in public accounting, with expertise in preparing tax returns for partnerships, corporations, individuals, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, estates, and non-profits.
  • Support tax planning initiatives and generate tax projections, along with conducting tax research and making informed decisions.
  • Draft responses to inquiries from the IRS and state tax authorities.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • CPA certification or eligibility is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Assist in reviewing tax returns and preparing complex tax filings.
  • Take responsibility for completing tax returns under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with tax software, particularly Lacerte, is advantageous.
  • Exhibit outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of tax legislation.
  • Meet deadlines consistently.
  • Be adaptable to increased workloads during peak tax season.
