Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit state and federal tax filings.
  • Evaluate individual, partnership, trust, and corporate tax returns along with other financial documents.
  • Oversee, develop, and guide junior tax professionals.
  • Formulate tax strategies and policies that adhere to legal standards.
  • Provide counsel to individual clients and businesses regarding tax planning, research, and compliance matters.
  • Identify and address tax-related issues.
  • Stay informed about tax legislation and educate staff on updates.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • CPA certification or Enrolled Agent status is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in tax return review.
  • 2-3 years' experience in staff management.
  • At least 7 years' experience in a public accounting tax environment.
  • 2-3 years' experience in tax preparation for high-net-worth individuals, estates, and trusts.
  • Exceptional analytical and technical tax skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Outstanding client service and communication abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and competing projects in a dynamic firm.
  • Demonstrated team-oriented leadership.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
