Position Summary
The Senior Tax Associate role calls for a meticulous, analytical professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality work while maintaining courteous and professional interactions with clients. Key Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of 4 years of recent experience in public accounting, with expertise in preparing tax returns for partnerships, corporations, individuals, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, estates, and non-profits.
  • Experience in tax planning and the ability to prepare tax projections, conduct tax research, and make informed decisions.
  • Competence in preparing responses to IRS and state tax inquiries.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • CPA certification or eligibility is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to assist in reviewing tax returns and preparing complex tax filings.
  • Willingness to take responsibility for completing tax returns under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications; experience with Lacerte is a plus.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A comprehensive understanding of tax legislation.
  • Capability to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Flexibility to manage increased workloads during the tax season.
