Position Summary:
  • Manage non-compliant components throughout the various phases of production
  • Improve designs to enhance manufacturing efficiency
  • Lead initiatives for design enhancements aimed at manufacturability
  • Design and resolve issues related to intricate fluid systems
  • Employ 3D CAD and Finite Element Analysis tools
  • Develop designs in accordance with ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Over 5 years of experience with complex fluid systems
  • Experience with fluid systems in spacecraft or launch vehicles
  • Strong understanding of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics
  • Familiarity with fluid components and their manufacturing processes
  • Ability to foster positive relationships and promote an inclusive environment
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience with cryogenic systems
  • Knowledge of properties of cryogenic materials
  • Experience in component and system testing
  • Project management and welding skills
  • Flexibility to work varied hours as required
