Job Summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Wealth Relationship Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Private Client Coverage group, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with high net worth clients, providing them with tailored financial solutions and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Identify, build, and deepen relationships with affluent and high net worth clients to increase wallet share and drive business growth.
  • Financial Planning: Anticipate clients' complex financial needs and offer solutions through a wide range of products, services, and tools based on client profiling.
  • Product and Service Knowledge: Work with product specialists to understand clients' banking, credit, and investment needs and goals, providing holistic financial solutions.
  • Client Engagement: Provide regular value-added engagement with clients, including high-touch, face-to-face meetings, consistent communication, and access to seminars and other events.
  • Business Development: Proactively source, acquire, and expand high-value customer relationships by maximizing sales and service opportunities.
  • Referral Opportunities: Refer opportunities to segment partners, including lending consultants and financial advisors, to grow the portfolio.
  • Client Events: Organize client events to enhance client bonding and relationships.
  • Client Acquisition: Acquire new clients through converting referral leads and managing client follow-up.
  • Compliance: Ensure that KYC/AML and other compliance norms are strictly adhered to, and partner with all roles on the branch team to ensure a positive in-branch experience for clients.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual in Cantonese/Mandarin.
  • Analytical and Financial Skills: Strong analytical and financial skills, with the ability to filter, prioritize, and validate complex and dynamic material from multiple sources.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to clients.
  • Organizational Skills: Organized with strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple client relationships and priorities.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word) and experience using NaviPlan Select or similar financial planning software.
  • Education: Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • FINRA Registration: Current registration for FINRA series 6, 63, and 65, or equivalent.
  • Insurance Group 1: Current registration for Insurance Group 1, with 120 days to obtain if not already held.
  • Mortgage Loan Originator: Registration as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, with a unique identifier from the Registry.
