The Key Connection methodology employs inventive community-based strategies to enhance a robust behavioral analytic framework, incorporating principles of Positive Behavior Support (PBS), trauma-informed care, and motivational interviewing techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering trauma-informed clinical assistance to older children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families.
  • Facilitating self-management, self-help, and social skills development, along with daily living activities and home routines, while minimizing challenging behaviors in both home and community settings.
  • Providing individualized services in homes or community locations.
  • Ensuring the health, safety, and overall well-being of individuals supported.
  • Implementing innovative community-based programs developed in collaboration with the team.
  • Instructing specific skills and behaviors in line with the goals and strategies outlined in each individual's behavioral treatment plan within a nurturing therapeutic environment.
  • Upholding respect and confidentiality for all individuals.
  • Maintaining treatment documentation, collecting data, and generating contact notes during each visit.
  • Completing necessary paperwork (including contact notes, time sheets, mileage logs, and incident reports) promptly in accordance with agency policies.
  • Adhering to professional boundaries and agency regulations.
  • Executing mandated reporting as required by relevant laws.
  • Undertaking additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma with at least one year of experience working with children and/or adolescents in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal, creative problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Dependability, a commitment to confidentiality, and a high level of professionalism.
