Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering trauma-informed clinical assistance to older children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families.
- Facilitating self-management, self-help, and social skills development, along with daily living activities and home routines, while minimizing challenging behaviors in both home and community settings.
- Providing individualized services in homes or community locations.
- Ensuring the health, safety, and overall well-being of individuals supported.
- Implementing innovative community-based programs developed in collaboration with the team.
- Instructing specific skills and behaviors in line with the goals and strategies outlined in each individual's behavioral treatment plan within a nurturing therapeutic environment.
- Upholding respect and confidentiality for all individuals.
- Maintaining treatment documentation, collecting data, and generating contact notes during each visit.
- Completing necessary paperwork (including contact notes, time sheets, mileage logs, and incident reports) promptly in accordance with agency policies.
- Adhering to professional boundaries and agency regulations.
- Executing mandated reporting as required by relevant laws.
- Undertaking additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a high school diploma with at least one year of experience working with children and/or adolescents in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal, creative problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
- Dependability, a commitment to confidentiality, and a high level of professionalism.
