Key Responsibilities:

As a Business Insurance Account Manager, your role will encompass:
  • Managing client accounts, including billing inquiries, policy modifications, and coverage clarifications.
  • Conducting coverage assessments and risk management advice, completing applications, preparing submissions, negotiating terms and pricing, and drafting proposals.
  • Overseeing the renewal process and addressing cancellation requests.

  • Resolving any accounting discrepancies that may arise.
  • Assisting with policy verification and staying informed on rates, forms, and coverage updates.
  • Engaging in all interactions with clients and companies to mitigate potential errors and omissions.
Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant insurance experience in applicable products and risk management practices.
  • Proven expertise in Property & Casualty Insurance.
  • A High School Diploma is required; a Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferred, with relevant designations encouraged.
  • In-depth understanding of the utilization and administration of insurance products, along with knowledge of market dynamics and marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with agency management software.
  • Prior experience in an insurance brokerage setting.

  • Possession of a Property & Casualty License or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment.
