Tax Manager
Our client, a leading international manufacturer, is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join their team. This role will be responsible for managing the company's tax compliance, including federal, international, and state income tax returns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the completion of tax returns, including analysis and support
- Oversee use and property tax functions
- Conduct audits of federal and state income tax and state and local filings
- Account for income taxes (ASC 740) in the US and International subsidiaries
- Manage transfer pricing and management fee arrangements
- Collaborate with international subsidiaries on global tax compliance processes
- Liaise with operating management on tax issues and accounting staff on tax accounting issues
- Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place over accounting for income taxes
- Departmental liaison with IT staff on all technical matters relating to tax applications
- Assist the executive management team with corporate tax planning issues as required
- Assist the Corporate Controller in estimating and monitoring annual cash taxes
- Assist with global M&A activities (structuring, diligence, etc.)
Requirements:
- 5+ years of related experience, preferably in both industry and public accounting
- Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Accounting, Master's Degree in Business Taxation preferred
- Demonstrated hands-on approach and success in working in a team-based environment
This Tax Manager position is based in Oxford, CT, offering a salary of $140,000-$160,000 depending on experience.
