Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator II to join our team in Northridge, CA. The successful candidate will provide support for day-to-day administrative operations, collaborate with Cyber Security and IT staff, and contribute to the company's IT services.
Key Responsibilities- Integrate, upgrade, and manage domain services and infrastructure systems in a Microsoft Windows Server environment.
- Configure and administer various line of business applications, IT/Cyber Tools, and other software solutions.
- Recommend improvements to the company's IT services.
- Contribute to computer and network security using a variety of security-based products.
- Manage data backup and restoration systems for the local facility.
- Administer and maintain client computers and solutions in various LAN environments.
- Provide end-user support for the local office.
- Maintain software licensing records and provide support to IT budget planning sessions.
- Mentor other IT staff and lead technical projects.
- Bachelor's Degree in an Information Technology related discipline and/or current, applicable industry-standard certifications.
- Minimum of 3 years working as a Windows System Administrator, Linux Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Security+CE or equivalent certification for DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II or higher within 90 days of employment.
- Proficiency with domain services utilizing Windows Server including Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, DFS, and DHCP.
- Advanced IT troubleshooting skills and experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work autonomously and on a team.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to produce technical documentation.
- Active Top Secret security clearance.
- System administration of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 or later.
- Experience in one or more of the following: Microsoft 365, Azure, or AWS Administration, SharePoint, Veeam Backup & Replication, or SCCM Configuration Manager.
- Familiarity with classified information system Cyber Security tools and technologies.
- Experience collaborating with Cyber Security professionals.
Areté offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $105,000, as well as a range of benefits, programs, and perks, including generous PTO and leave times, financial benefits, health, medical, and wellness benefits, and more.
