Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative, under moderate supervision, performs daily nominating, confirming, and scheduling processing functions. This role also involves monthly invoicing and facilitating communication of critical and non-critical information to both internal and external parties.
Key Responsibilities- Perform nominations, confirmations, allocations, and scheduling activities on Northern Natural Gas's pipeline.
- Reconcile and collect outstanding accounts receivables for assigned accounts.
- Monitor assigned points comparing scheduled volume to actual flow on a daily basis.
- Provide customer satisfaction to assigned operators and shippers.
- Resolve simple discrepancies at pipeline interconnects.
- Investigate and respond to more routine customer scheduling and billing discrepancies.
- Execute customer requests in a timely manner.
- Assist marketers on assigned accounts.
- Provide technical input to assist in development of project planning.
- Bachelor of Science degree in business administration or related field; or equivalent gas industry work experience.
- Two or more years of related experience and successful completion of associate-level training program.
- Familiarity with Northern Natural Gas, gas tariff is beneficial.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, CAS, and CMS.
This role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively contribute in this work environment. The ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently is also essential.
