  • Review Financial Statements: Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for accuracy and completion before sharing them with upper dealership management.
  • Compliance: Learn and uphold all local, state, and federal regulations impacting vehicle sales and the automotive industry.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required; high school diploma or GED equivalent necessary.
  • Experience: Three or more years of experience in a sales manager or general manager position for a dealership or auto group.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the automotive industry and trends.
  • Driver's License: Possess a state-issued driver's license and an acceptable driving record to operate dealership-owned vehicles.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, a track record of leadership, and the ability to interpret profit and loss statements are necessary for success.
