Ski Tuning and Rental Manager

At One&Only Moonlight Basin, we're seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Ski Tuning and Rental Manager to join our Recreation & Leisure team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, hire, and train ski tuning and rental attendants to deliver exceptional service standards.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for the ski rental and tuning program, ensuring seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Assist in budget development and monitoring to ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with the Recreation & Leisure team to maintain safety and facility cleanliness standards, ensuring a world-class experience for our guests.
  • Ensure rental and tuning practices meet or exceed national standards, guaranteeing guest safety and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records related to binding testing and adjustment for liability protection.
  • Facilitate personalized ski and snowboard rentals, from equipment selection to binding adjustment, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.
  • Regularly tune and repair rental equipment to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Operate resort point of sales and property management systems to efficiently manage guest transactions.
  • Assist with other duties as required by the Recreation & Leisure management or hotel management team.
Requirements:
  • Previous rental and tune shop management experience is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and knowledge of Big Sky Resort terrain, current ski conditions, and additional program offerings are required.
  • Experience in a 5-star, upmarket resort is an advantage, but not a requirement.
  • Must be able to obtain ski manufacturers' binding certification.
  • Previous experience with Winterstiger Tune and Repair equipment and Easy Rent software is preferred.
