About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Catering Sales and Event Manager to join our team at Reata Restaurant. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for increasing catering sales, managing client relationships, and ensuring successful event execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, manage a pipeline of prospects, and achieve or exceed sales targets for catering services.
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Event Planning & Coordination: Oversee the planning and execution of events, including menu selection, staffing, and logistical arrangements. Ensure all events run smoothly and meet quality standards.
  • Contract Negotiation: Prepare contracts with clients, ensuring all terms are clear, fair, and aligned with company policies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with culinary team, service teams and third party rental company to ensure seamless event execution and high client satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on sales performance, client feedback, and market trends. Use data to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Preferred minimum of 1-3 years of experience in catering sales or event management or an equivalent of restaurant management and/or combination of education and work experience.
  • Skills:
    • Strong sales abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with Tripleseat CRM software.
