**About the Position**

We are looking for a highly skilled information technology assistant to join our team at the Arkansas Government Job. As an IT assistant, you will be responsible for supporting user services, operations, technical services, or systems applications.

The estimated salary for this position is $33,402 - $53,278 per year.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Support agency-wide technical services for all users, including data retrieval, program development through application scripting, security support, and staff development and training
  • Provide general maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of facilities to ensure productive environments for users
  • Communicate with technical support to diagnose problems and arrange for the repair of hardware

Requirements:

  • The formal equivalent of a high school diploma; plus two years of experience in computer related applications or related area
  • Knowledge of computers, hardware/software, and applications and operations
  • Ability to operate computer and peripheral equipment
  • Ability to perform technical and mechanical functions and applications
