- Update patient personal and insurance information in our electronic health record
- Handle multi-line phone system and respond to patient inquiries
- Maintain tidiness of waiting area and reception counter
- Check schedules for added, canceled, and no-show appointments
- Schedule follow-up appointments as needed
- Respond to designated tasks in the electronic health record
- Order clinic office supplies
- Sell and track cosmetic products
- Distribute mail
- Prepare for next day scheduled appointments
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of recent medical office experience or in a similar capacity preferred
- Proficient in basic computer functions
- Ability to learn new software quickly
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to operate standard office equipment
- Ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Ability to respond positively to constructive feedback and direction from supervisors
- Professional appearance and manner at all times
- Compassionate and caring demeanor when dealing with patients
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
