Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $46,200 - $58,118 per annum, based on a 40-hour workweek and considering factors such as location and experience.

Job Responsibilities

The Administrative Claims Support Specialist will play a critical role in supporting the adjusting team by managing and processing insurance claims. Key responsibilities include:

  • Receiving and verifying claim details, ensuring accuracy and completeness from an administrative standpoint.
  • Establishing and maintaining communication with insurance adjusters to expedite the claims process, submitting necessary documentation for payment processing and confirming payee details for vendors and insureds/claimants.
  • Verifying services provided and charges applied, resolving billing discrepancies and ensuring proper invoicing for claim services.
  • Maintaining detailed records of all claims, including date of loss, type of loss, damages, and settlement details, to support audit purposes and future reference.
  • Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies during the claims process, maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to ethical practices.
  • Analyzing claims data to identify trends and patterns, reporting findings to management for strategic decision-making.
  • Providing training and support to other team members on the claims process and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in insurance in a supportive role, preferably in claims administration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, with 6 months to a year of related experience.
  • Certified Claims Professional (CCP) or Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) certification is preferred.
