Job Overview
Magneto & Diesel Injector Service Inc is seeking a skilled Warranty Claims Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our remanufacturing department, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate warranty processing for our customers.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, tracking, and facilitating the timely processing of warranty claims for both internally produced and externally purchased products. This includes interfacing with customers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Warranty Claim Processing: Monitor, track, and facilitate the timely processing of warranty claims for both internally produced and externally purchased products.
- Customer Interface: Interface with customers by answering incoming calls and handling various customer-driven issues.
- Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with vendors to resolve issues and ensure timely shipping of products.
- Documentation: Provide return documents to customers and assist with other tasks as required.
Requirements
- 2+ Years of Experience: 2 years of prior warranty administration experience or relevant industry knowledge.
- Diagnostic Skills: Experience with the diagnostic and repair of internal combustion engines.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to read and interpret documents.
- PC Skills: Proficiency in PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged Sitting: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer.
- Lifting Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
