Job Overview

Ethos Behavioral Health Group LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Healthcare Administrative Specialist to join its team in Woodway. This role is responsible for collecting patients' financial responsibilities and performing non-clinical administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Communication: Assist with communicating financial status to patients or families, ensuring transparency and understanding of their billing obligations.
  2. Document Management: Complete financial paperwork, coordinate signatures, and document patients with unpaid balances in a timely and accurate manner.
  3. Revenue Cycle Management: Collect clinical fees, prepare and submit medical claims to insurance companies, handle incoming payments, and track accounts receivable.
  4. Denial Management: Handle claim denials, work with the financial department to resubmit or appeal claims, and analyze underpayment risk areas to ensure audit accuracy.
  5. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with billing specialists, providers, and administrative staff to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 3 years of comprehensive A/R follow-up and denials experience, including research of claim denials, calling insurance companies, and payer portals usage.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of health insurance and government programs, ability to navigate complex medical billing systems, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
