Radar Systems Engineer Position

Riverside Research Institute is seeking a skilled Radar Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Radar Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for providing system and software engineering, data analysis, and test support to various national radar programs.
Responsibilities:- Perform system and mission performance assessment, including detection, track, object classification/discrimination performance
- Conduct technical data analysis for a wide array of engineering problems involving large-scale radar systems
- Investigate and root-cause analysis of system and software performance anomalies
- Assist with system modernization and system architecture studies
- Provide test support, algorithm prototyping, and simulation
- Perform independent verification and validation (IV&V), algorithm prototyping, and simulation
- Investigate and mitigate system and software performance anomalies
- Conduct system and mission requirements analysis, feasibility studies, system modernization, and architecture studies
- Assist with emerging opportunities such as RFPs, BAAs, SBIRs, and IRADs
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance required
- Bachelor's Degree Required. Preferred degree programs in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Math, or Physics. Master's Degree Preferred
- A minimum of 5 years work experience
- Solid understanding of radar system functionality, performance limitations, and mission support requirements
- Experience with MATLAB required
- Desired: C/C++, Java, SIMULINK, and Machine Learning also desirable
- Experience with Digital Signal Processing, RF/Microwave Engineering, Antennas, Electromagnetic Fields and Waves, Communications Systems, Probability/Noise & Stochastic Processes, Microwave Circuits and Networks
$125,000- $150,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location, and other factors.
