RF Test Engineer, Radar Systems Specialist

Huntington Ingalls Industries, Mission Technologies Division (HII-MT) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of RF Test Engineer, Radar Systems.
Job Summary:The RF Test Engineer performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. The engineer will present a deep understanding of testing philosophies and methodologies within an agile test environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
- Properly employ test assets in customer-driven test objectives.
- Perform functional analysis and timeline analysis.
- Support technical publications in developing for customer releases test planning, test procedures, and test reports.
- Support technical and functional leadership through the identification of risk.
- 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; or 0 years experience with Masters in related field.
- Position requires interest in either Radar or Electronic Warfare System design and/or testing.
- Tasking includes RF chain analysis and radar system performance analysis, as well as all aspects of test execution.
- Interest in EW and Radar Signal Processing Techniques, Sensor System Integration and Test, and Electronic Warfare and Radar Performance Analysis Tools such as MATLAB is required.
Office or industrial environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving of materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one man lift.
