Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join our team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all activities related to month-end GAAP reporting, statutory reporting, operational and medical cost reporting, process improvement, and special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly responsible for the selection, training, development, and evaluation of employees.
  • Performs the day-to-day management of employees to meet departmental goals, create an environment which fosters employee involvement, growth, satisfaction, and ability to function effectively with colleagues.
  • Maintains relationships with all levels of leadership and staff to coordinate activities, provide necessary education, supply input and feedback, and function as a subject-matter expert for the reporting functions of the Finance department.
  • Manages, plans, and coordinates the monthly closing process, general ledger reporting and analysis, and the preparation of monthly balance sheet and income statement.
  • Ensures that month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reports are accurate, analyzed, and reviewed as it relates to medical costs.
  • Responsible for the development, planning, coordination, and supervision of statutory reporting, desk audits of medical vendors, and other required reporting such as Medical Loss Ratio reporting.
  • Responsible for ad-hoc projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required in Accounting or related field, with four to five years of healthcare accounting experience.
  • Prefer CPA license.
  • Four to five years of healthcare accounting experience or related field.
  • Management/Supervisor experience a must.
