Position Summary:

The Quality Governance Analyst will play a pivotal role in the development, support, and ongoing enhancement of fairlife's Quality Management System (QMS). This position will serve as a crucial liaison to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, Coca-Cola KORE guidelines, and third-party requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate site quality initiatives and ensure the standardization of best practices across manufacturing locations in alignment with fairlife's QMS requirements.
  • Oversee the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) programs across all fairlife facilities, ensuring their timely completion and effectiveness.
  • Act as the administrator for Quality Management Software, ETQ, ensuring the standardization of documents and quality requirements across manufacturing sites.
  • Provide training to relevant personnel on the use of fairlife's QMS software and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Research and Development to maintain up-to-date product specifications.
  • Address documentation requests from customers to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Conduct internal audits to assess quality and food safety standards at manufacturing facilities.
  • Perform risk assessments related to the Quality Management System (QMS) and Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
  • Support adherence to Coca-Cola KORE requirements and implement necessary actions to achieve compliance.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at the continuous improvement of fairlife's Quality and Food Safety Management Systems.
  • Work closely with site Environmental, Health, and Safety teams to facilitate integrated management systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, microbiology, chemistry, food science, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing and quality assurance environment.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management System software, such as ETQ and LIMS platforms.
  • Preferred: ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 Internal Auditor Training.
  • Preferred: Preventive Controls Quality Individual Training.
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is advantageous.
  • Ability to effectively engage with manufacturing quality teams in promoting new initiatives.
  • Capability to influence management and support employee team activities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer and document management abilities.

Food Safety Responsibilities:

  • Notify supervisors of any necessary repairs or adjustments that may impact product quality or food safety.
  • Understand, observe, and comply with the color-coded container policy while in production areas.
  • Perform all duties necessary to meet company, customer, and government standards as prioritized by the organization.
  • Proactively initiate actions to prevent nonconformities related to food safety and product quality.
  • Identify and document any issues related to food safety and quality of ingredients, processes, or systems.
  • Control the processing or delivery of nonconforming products concerning food safety and quality until issues are resolved.
  • In the event of absence, ensure that another qualified employee assumes the necessary duties and responsibilities.

Travel Requirements: 30%
