As a Project Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our project managers and teams by managing all costs, client billings, reviewing contractual values, generating reports, and supporting the overall financial health of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Data Management: Maintain accurate contract, project, and budget data within our ERP system and ensure compliant auditable files.
  • Cost Management: Manage costs related to labor, materials, expenses, and subcontracts, and perform direct project-related cost adjustments within the ERP system as approved.
  • Client Billing and Invoicing: Prepare, post, and deliver client billings and invoice packages on schedule.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Review project financial reports for cost accuracy and reasonableness, conduct weekly reviews and monitoring of potential issues and cash receipt postings.
  • Procedure Adherence: Ensure procedures and best practices are adhered to throughout the project accounting process.
  • WIP Management: Assess and manage WIP reports, supporting project forecasting and project changes.
  • Project Closeout: Perform project and contract closeout procedures.
  • Customer Service: Provide first-class customer service to project teams.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: Three (3) years of cost accounting experience.
  • Skills: Excel and analytical skills, including experience with formulas and pivot tables, detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, and effective communication and collaboration skills.
