As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs and modifications to composite structures on aircraft in accordance with mechanical engineering drawings, Structure Repair Manuals, and Standard Operating Procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform repairs and modifications to composite structures on aircraft in accordance with company procedures and industry standards.
- Work in compliance with company safety practices and maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects and meet customer expectations.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of composite materials, repair techniques, and industry standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices.
- Airframe License preferred.
- 3 years of composite repair and modification experience required.
- Post-secondary education or training in aircraft maintenance or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience required.
- Working knowledge of fabrication of sheet metal and composite components and assemblies, aircraft parts, and ground support equipment per engineering drawings, sketches, advance designs, specifications, and/or verbal instruction required.
- Working knowledge of maintenance manuals, parts catalog, and applicable FAA documents required.
- Skills in the use of computer systems, maintenance manuals, documentation systems, and the Federal Aviation Regulations required.
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Criminal Background Check and compliance with FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks mandatory.
- Work in a hangar and ramp environment.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Good vision and depth perception required.
