Job Title: Avionics Technician

Job Summary:
Benelux Tek Group Inc. (Aerospace Division) is seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to join its team in Marana/Tuscon, Arizona, US. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, testing, adjusting, assembly, disassembly, repair, cleaning, and calibration of aircraft avionics equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all work performed complies with applicable technical data, FAA regulations, and procedures.
  • Work closely with the immediate supervisor and Production Control Booth Coordinator to keep them informed on actual work progress.
  • Review non-preplanned documents to identify methods of repair and/or replacement, and provide timely estimates for all maintenance.
  • Responsible for the proper execution of parts tags attached to repairable, serviceable, or condemned parts.
  • Perform assigned maintenance work, including inspection, testing, adjusting, and repairing avionics equipment.
  • Inspect components of avionics equipment for defects and for accuracy of assembly and installation.
  • Test avionics equipment under simulated or actual operating conditions to determine performance and airworthiness.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace defective components based on analysis of test results.
  • Calibrate installed or repaired equipment to prescribed specifications.
  • Enforce company policies and safety regulations, and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate activities of workers, including assigning work duties and analyzing and resolving work problems.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Post-secondary education or training in aircraft maintenance or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience required.
  • Three to five years' experience in related aircraft avionics preferred.
  • A&P License or Repairman's Certificate required.
  • FCC License preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
