Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Mortgage Loan Closer to join our team. As a key member of our loan closing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of loan transactions. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the high standards of quality and customer satisfaction that Tomo is known for.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and verify all pre-closing documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Input closing data into the loan origination system and review Compliance Ease reports for any issues.
  • Conduct compliance reviews of Loan Estimates, TILA, and fraud tools to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Prepare and issue the Initial Closing Disclosure and coordinate loan closing with the title company.
  • Draw and release closing documents to the Settlement Agent and submit requests to the warehouse bank for funding.
  • Authorize funding of the loan and assist in resolving any post-closing issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of recent mortgage closing/funding experience.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to stay current on federal, state, investor, and internal policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining transparency between all teammates involved in a customer's journey.
What We Offer

Tomo offers a competitive annual base salary of $70,000-$75,000, with added incentive pay of up to 15%. We are committed to providing a dynamic and supportive work environment that fosters growth and development.
