About the Position

The Society for Technical Communication is seeking a Part-Time Lecturer for the Center for Professional and Workforce Impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and teaching noncredit courses in various areas, including change management, risk management, financial management, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop noncredit courses in areas such as change management, risk management, financial management, and project management basics
  • Teach content in online format with both asynchronous and synchronous components
  • Develop course materials and assessments
  • Collaborate with the Center for Professional and Workforce Impact team to ensure course alignment with the center's goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Master's degree or Bachelor's degree with 7 years of relevant work experience in the proposed topic
  • Extensive expertise in the area of instruction
  • Prior online teaching or adult education/training experience is preferred
