Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent patient care by assisting physicians with routine medical procedures, taking vital signs, and preparing patients for examinations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Support administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, processing medical records, and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict infection control protocols and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in medical technology.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong foundation in medical assistant theory and practice, with certification within 1 year of employment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computing skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Windows and experience with electronic medical records (EMRs).
  • CPR certification and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and confidentiality.
  • A salary commensurate with education, training, and experience, estimated at $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on qualifications.
