Per Diem Receptionist

Overview:

The Receptionist plays a crucial role in managing the front desk operations, welcoming and screening visitors, handling phone inquiries, and performing light administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a log for visitor sign-ins and sign-outs, ensuring compliance with facility protocols.

• Act as a gatekeeper for residents, ensuring that only authorized individuals leave the premises.

• Inform the supervisor when stepping away from the reception area.

• Report any known or suspected incidents of fraud or resident mistreatment to the Administrator.

• Handle incoming phone calls and direct them appropriately.

• Welcome visitors and guide them to their destinations within the facility.

Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in administrative support, reception, or clerical roles.
  • Familiarity with software applications such as WORD, OUTLOOK, and EXCEL is preferred.
  • Proficient in English, with strong speaking, reading, and writing skills.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks effectively in a diverse and dynamic environment.
  • Capable of interacting compassionately with individuals who may be ill, disabled, elderly, or emotionally distressed.
