Administrative Reception Specialist

Overview:
The Receptionist plays a crucial role in the organization by welcoming and screening individuals, managing incoming calls, and providing support with basic administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the sign-in and sign-out process, ensuring all guests and residents are properly logged.
• Act as a gatekeeper for residents, confirming that only authorized individuals exit the facility.
• Inform the supervisor when stepping away from the reception area.
• Report any known or suspected incidents of fraud or resident mistreatment to the Administrator.
• Handle incoming phone calls efficiently.
• Welcome visitors and guide them to their respective destinations.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in administrative support, reception, or clerical roles.
- Familiarity with software applications such as WORD, OUTLOOK, and EXCEL is preferred.
- Proficient in English, with strong speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and collaborate effectively in a diverse work environment.
- Capable of interacting with individuals who may be ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally distressed, or occasionally hostile.
