Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project plans and reports during the project lifecycle
  • Identify and communicate project requests or tasks that may create potential project conflicts, impact, or changes to mission critical services and/or projects
  • Manage and update project tracking (MS project, teams, SharePoint) to monitor and log existing projects and project status, and track requests to initiate new projects, including a project backlog
  • Update and manage SharePoint/teams site to log and manage project information for existing and proposed projects, tracking requests and project backlogs
  • Identify and document resource needs, skill sets, and training needs for the projects (technical and non-technical) that are necessary for program staff to successfully complete and implement a service or solution
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in information technology projects required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft MS365 services
  • Knowledge and experience with application, database, messaging, or web server system projects
  • Knowledge and experience with information technology equipment refresh projects
  • Ability to communicate the design and implementation of a project management methodology and reasons for implementation decisions
  • Ability to communicate (orally and written) effectively with technical, non-technical staff, and customers/stakeholders as needed or directed
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the DSS and other State information technology staff
