Job OverviewThe Thomas Talent Network is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to play a crucial role in the planning, implementation, and completion of engineering projects. This role is essential in maintaining project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating project activities, ensuring compliance with specifications and codes, and effectively managing resources. You will work closely with project stakeholders and team members to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project documentation and technical drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and identify potential issues.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders and team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Prepare project schedules and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards by implementing and monitoring project KPIs.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project team members to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Participate in design and construction meetings to ensure project deliverables meet requirements.
  • Resolve project-related issues and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
  • Manage project changes and scope to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Conduct risk assessments and mitigation to ensure project success.
  • Oversee subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Communicate project progress to stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Implement and monitor project KPIs to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Review and approve engineering designs to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet requirements by conducting thorough quality checks.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in engineering project management.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and other design software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • In-depth understanding of quality assurance processes.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Solid understanding of construction codes and regulations.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience in risk assessment and management.
  • Proven track record in delivering successful engineering projects.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in project documentation.
