About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our national projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of projects. Your expertise in project procurement, staffing, budget requirements, and coordination between stakeholders will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple project paths and goals, working closely with project managers to implement project objectives.
  • Implement change management on designated projects, analyzing data from project execution and providing necessary support for projects and employees.
  • Develop scopes of work specific to each project or task, prepare bidding documents, and ensure Request for Proposals (RFPs) are prepared and performed as required to secure contract workforce.
  • Negotiate to obtain the most cost-effective project proposals meeting budget requirements.
  • Perform contractor past performance due diligence as required.
  • Ensure construction activities are implemented, conduct pre-construction meetings with all stakeholders, and guide project teams.
  • Monitor project schedules, meeting all milestones, timelines, and manage schedules of values. Review and process owner and subcontractor change orders.
  • Monitor all work for adherence to plans, specifications, safety, and quality.
  • Ensure each employee has the necessary equipment and training to perform their assigned task.
  • Assign project superintendents to specific projects and support as required to achieve project success.
  • Provide employee guidance and coaching as necessary.
  • Ensure all performance reviews for employees are performed, accurate, and processed timely.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in building construction, project management, construction management, civil engineering, or architecture.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in construction management.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of all phases of residential and commercial construction/renovations techniques and processes.
  • Experience in construction procurement, CSI scope writing, specification writing, performing RFPs, bid analysis, and estimating.
  • Knowledge of identifying local and federal building codes, OSHA, and EPA rules and regulations.
  • Solid computer skills.
  • Self-starter.
  • OSHA 30 Construction and OSHA Fall Protection Certification within 30 days of employment.
  • MS Office with emphasis on MS Project.
  • EPA RRP Knowledge, Building Codes and Compliance, Procore Project Management Software.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Active and valid driver's license.
