Job Summary

The Strategic Workforce Development Director will lead the development and implementation of workforce development initiatives, programs, and services that align with the college's strategic goals and objectives. This position will be responsible for building and maintaining partnerships with business and industry leaders, as well as developing and managing relationships with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Workforce Development Strategies
    • Develop and implement workforce development strategies that align with the college's strategic goals and objectives.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify workforce development needs and opportunities.
    • Develop and maintain partnerships with business and industry leaders to advance workforce development initiatives.
  • Manage Workforce Development Programs and Services
    • Develop and manage workforce development programs and services that meet the needs of business and industry partners.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement workforce development initiatives.
    • Manage and evaluate the effectiveness of workforce development programs and services.
  • Build and Maintain Partnerships
    • Build and maintain partnerships with business and industry leaders to advance workforce development initiatives.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
    • Represent the college in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  • Manage Budget and Resources
    • Develop and manage budgets for workforce development programs and services.
    • Manage and allocate resources to support workforce development initiatives.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of budget and resource allocation.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. business, education, human resources).
  • Experience
    • 5+ years of experience in workforce development, program management, or a related field.
    • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful workforce development strategies and programs.
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain partnerships with business and industry leaders.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
