Job Overview

Position Title: Print Production Specialist

Shift: Monday - Wednesday, 6:00am - 6:00pm

Role Summary:

The Print Production Specialist is responsible for thoroughly reviewing job ticket details and ensuring all equipment is set up and adjusted to meet production standards. This role involves cutting materials to specified dimensions using finishing machinery, while consistently monitoring output quality and collecting data for job tracking. The specialist will address any quality issues promptly and work to meet established productivity and quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct equipment setup and adjustments as required.
  • Operate finishing equipment to cut products to final specifications.
  • Monitor production quality and report any discrepancies.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery.
  • Maintain a safe and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Utilize material handling equipment as necessary.
  • Work overtime when required and perform additional tasks as assigned.

Essential Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in printing, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to conduct visual inspections for quality assurance.
  • Competence in applying written instructions for machine setups.
  • Basic computer literacy and mathematical skills.
  • Proficiency in measuring using both Standard and Metric units.

Employment Type: Permanent position.

Work Environment:

Physical demands include the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs, along with frequent movements such as reaching, bending, and standing. The role requires manual dexterity for repetitive tasks and the ability to visually inspect work for defects.
