Job Summary

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of welding and fabrication tasks to meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welding and Fabrication: Perform MIG welding, layout, tacking, fabrication, and building functions in the manufacture of various products in accordance with product specifications.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions to perform necessary tasks.
  • Safety Procedures: Knowledge of welding safety procedures and willingness to use PPEs provided.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
About the Role

This is a job shop environment and all products are designed to order. You will work in a fast-paced fabrication shop with 20 welding bays, and will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and develop your skills as a welder.

Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in welding and fabrication preferred.
  • Skills: Knowledge of MIG welding, blueprint reading, and shop math required.
