Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to garage door installation and maintenance.
  • Maintain clean and safe job sites, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Prepare materials with warehouse staff to ensure efficient installation processes.
  • Coordinate with the Service Coordinator for scheduling and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Understand product manuals and review work orders for accuracy to ensure high-quality installations.
  • Ensure the truck is ready for daily operations, stocked with necessary tools and materials.
  • Record installation details on work orders and maintain accurate records.
  • Promote a positive company image by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in safety programs and comply with all policies and procedures.
  • Learn new products and follow managerial directions to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong work ethic and excellent customer service skills.
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass drug screening and background check.
  • Mechanical skills with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Proficient in English.
Work Conditions
  • Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Travel around the Metro Area, including the Twin Cities.
  • Use standard installation tools.
  • Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and heavy traffic conditions.
