Key Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant:
Supporting physicians in delivering exceptional care to patients. Welcoming and preparing patients for their examinations and treatments. Providing hands-on assistance during surgical procedures. Assisting in the sterilization of instruments and maintaining cleanliness and order in examination rooms. Reviewing patient medical histories, accurately maintaining records and documentation, and ensuring confidentiality while managing notes in the EMR system. Securing necessary consents when required. Handling prescription calls, performing patient follow-ups, and managing administrative tasks as needed.Essential Skills and Attributes:
Demonstrating compassion and care in interactions with patients and colleagues. Effectively prioritizing tasks, comprehending provider instructions, and knowing when to seek guidance. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Willingness to travel between office locations as necessary (mileage reimbursement provided).Benefits Offered:

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program is preferred. Certification as a Medical Assistant (MA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) is preferred. Practical experience in a clinical setting is preferred. Experience in dermatology or surgical environments is advantageous. Proficiency in fundamental medical procedures and terminology. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
