Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians with a range of procedures using fluoroscopic imaging, ensuring the safe and effective use of contrast media.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and inventory, ensuring optimal functionality and minimizing downtime.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care, including pre and post-procedure assessments, patient teaching, and circulating and scrubbing roles during procedures.
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure accurate and reliable imaging results.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, nurses, and physicians to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest radiology principles, practices, and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and licensure, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and a culture of excellence.

Requirements:
  • Minimum three (3) years of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting, supporting fluoroscopy and c-arm/surgical procedures.
  • Graduate of a certified/accredited ARRT program.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Cardiac Interventional Radiography, Vascular Interventional Radiography, or Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography within 24 months of hire.
  • Radiologic Technologist Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Basic Life Support.
