Genesis10 is currently seeking a Market Operations Specialist with our client in the financial sector.
This is a full-time role.Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new clients, which includes the setup and management of participating organizations and technology vendors.
- Assist participants with their market access requirements, including certifying participant technology and resolving complex trading or technical issues, as well as implementing and supporting configuration changes.
- Ensure the smooth operation of our core US equities trading system by handling order cancellations and trade requests, monitoring system health, conducting exception report reviews, providing clearing support, and overseeing trade activities.
- Act as a vital member of our US equities contact center, delivering exceptional level one support to a diverse range of participants, from traders and technology experts to business leaders and back-office staff.
- Maintain a continuous feedback loop with the broader AlphaX US team to enhance the participant experience.
- Engage in business requirements gathering, participant readiness assessments, and user acceptance testing for new equities trading initiatives and operational deliverables.
- Support the execution of all Business Continuity, Incident Management, and Disaster Recovery strategies.
- Promote ongoing process improvement through participant feedback and adherence to industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in securities or trading/technology support roles.
- Possess a friendly and professional demeanor, thriving in a collaborative trading floor environment.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to enhancing the participant experience with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Quick to learn and adapt to new technologies and concepts while effectively managing time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- SIE and Series 99 certifications.
