About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at Aptiv. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for shaping the future of mobility from day one.

This is a unique opportunity to drive distributors and their marketing teams, while working in a global business with over 200,000 employees across 5 continents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy, particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Manage the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, non-exempt, and professional roles.
  • Administer and maintain employee benefits programs and inform employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends.
  • Analyze trends in compensation and benefits and research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  • Provide support and guidance to HR staff, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
  • Oversee training and development activities, such as new hire orientations, succession planning, and conduct training needs assessments.
  • Implement learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Participate in developing, recommending, implementing, communicating, and upholding company-wide personnel policies and procedures.
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the HR Department and services performed.
  • Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
