Thrive Behavioral Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will provide assessment evaluations, outpatient short-term psychotherapy, and linkage with community service agencies.
Key Responsibilities- Provide initial assessment and intake evaluation in client's home.
- Provide individual, couples, family, or group counseling within the scope of one's competencies.
- Provide crisis intervention and develop recovery plans.
- Collaborate with other providers, agencies, insurance companies, and individuals in the client's network of care.
- Provide relapse prevention, discharge planning, follow-up, and aftercare.
- Teach clients effective techniques for managing their medication as prescribed.
- Coordinate community resources, transportation for clients, and referrals to appropriate resources.
- Assist clients in developing and strengthening their support network to accomplish goals and objectives.
- Produce, complete, and maintain billing forms, logs, data collection forms, clinical documentation, and client records.
- Master's Degree in the human service field of social work or counseling preferred.
- Minimum (2) year experience working with clients with disabilities preferred.
- Experience or training in related state and federal assistance programs also preferred.
- Licensed at an independent level (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) preferred.
- Valid driver's license and automobile insurance which meets Rhode Island minimum standards law, or the ability to obtain necessary transportation in order to perform the job responsibilities/tasks.
