Job Description

We are seeking a Therapeutic Community Support Specialist to join our team at MAB Community Services. As a Therapeutic Community Support Specialist, you will provide direct support to young adults living in a new and innovative community-based residential program.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in counseling and experience working with neurodivergent individuals. You will be responsible for building and maintaining therapeutic rapport with residents, supporting their safety and skill development, and collaborating with other team members to ensure a seamless transition to independence.

Estimated Salary:$55,000 - $65,000 per year

Responsibilities
  1. Provide direct support to young adults living in a new and innovative community-based residential program
  2. Build and maintain therapeutic rapport with residents
  3. SUPPORT THEIR SAFETY AND SKILL DEVELOPMENT
  4. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless transition to independence
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related field
  • Previous experience working with neurodivergent individuals
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
