We are a dynamic organization dedicated to providing high-quality therapeutic recreational services. We are seeking an experienced Activities Specialist II to join our team.
**Job Description**
As an Activities Specialist II, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of therapeutic recreation programs for our participants. This includes designing and creating new programs, implementing group processes, and acting as a resource to other team members.
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement therapeutic recreation programs that meet the needs of our participants.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop activities for the Wellness program.
- Provide mentorship and training to other activities staff on program development.
- Represent the Activities Department at IDT meetings and communicate daily activity programming.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with the geriatric population.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills for use of Outlook, Word, and electronic medical record.
**Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year**
