Executive Chef and Dining Services Manager

About the Role:
Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef and Dining Services Manager to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
- Menu Planning and Execution: Plan and execute menus that are appealing and nutritious, and ensure that all food is prepared and served in accordance with Sunrise's culinary standards.
- Staff Management: Supervise and train a team of cooks and dining room staff to ensure that they are providing excellent service and adhering to Sunrise's standards.
- Inventory Management: Manage food and supply inventory to ensure that we have the necessary resources to provide excellent dining experiences.
- Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, and ensure that all food is handled and prepared in accordance with Sunrise's sanitation and safety standards.
- Financial Management: Manage the dining services budget to ensure that we are operating within our financial guidelines.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a senior living or hospitality setting.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
- Skills: Excellent culinary skills, strong leadership and management abilities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
